Adviser to the UAE President, responding to Iranian strikes on Kuwait and Bahrain early this morning:

"There is no escaping the fact that Gulf states must take a firm, united stance. No Gulf state should stand alone against an attack - their security is linked, their interests shared, their fate the same. This aggression does not harm one country alone, but all of them."

Iran's Foreign Ministry holds Kuwait and Bahrain's rulers "directly responsible" for permitting strikes carried out from their soil.

We are monitoring the developments out of the Middle East. What we know so far:

- U.S. forces reportedly carried out strikes on Iran’s Qeshm Island.

- Shortly afterward, Kuwaiti authorities announced they were responding to incoming missile and drone threats

- Iranian state-linked sources claim the attacks were aimed at U.S. military installations in Kuwait

- Unconfirmed reports also indicate explosions were heard in parts of Iraq and Bahrain

REPORTS: EXPLOSIONS IN KUWAIT, BAHRAIN AND ERBIL, IRAQ.

Bahrain's Interior Ministry has barred citizens from traveling to Iran and Iraq citing security tensions.

A Bahraini court sentenced 9 individuals to life in prison after convicting them of spying for the IRGC and plotting terrorist attacks.

Former Iranian FM Manouchehr Mottaki warned Bahrain against pursuing what he described as "an anti-Iran move" at the United Nations, claiming Manama was acting on behalf of Washington. Mottaki said some permanent Security Council members had urged the U.S. and Bahrain not to seek a new resolution, warning Bahrain would see the same result as past failed attempts.

NATO has invited Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE to an upcoming summit. Iran-related security concerns are on the agenda, per Western diplomats.

Russia and China are both expected to use their veto power to block the resolution on the Strait of Hormuz jointly proposed by Bahrain and the United States, according to multiple international media outlets.

Bahrain's Foreign Minister: Iran's actions endanger the global economy.

Arab foreign ministers demanded Iran pay compensation for economic damages caused by its threats to close the Strait of Hormuz. The session was called by Bahrain.

Arab League Secretary General: "Arab states were not and will not be hostages in Iran's hands for settling scores."

Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein arrived in Doha and met with Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the first leg of a Gulf solidarity tour.

Hussein stressed that "the security of the Arab Gulf states is central to the security and stability of the region." He is expected in Bahrain later today. - Royal Hashemite Court

Iranian Ambassador to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani:

"The naval blockade is a blatant violation of Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The United States bears full responsibility for the illegal international blockade and all its consequences. We demand compensation from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan for their participation in the war against Iran."

Despite a ceasefire, Iran launched 94 drones and 23 missiles at Gulf states.

Kuwait faced 28 drones, some hitting oil, power, and desalination facilities.

UAE intercepted 17 missiles and 35 drones; debris struck the Habshan gas complex, injuring three.

Bahrain intercepted 6 missiles and 31 drones, with shrapnel damaging homes in Sitra.
