"Military cooperation and coordination activities between the Republic of Turkey and the State of Qatar are continuing uninterrupted within the framework of existing agreements and plans.
A helicopter belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces, conducting training under the Qatar-Turkey Combined Joint Force Command, crashed into the sea on the evening of March 21 due to a suspected technical malfunction.
Search and rescue operations were immediately launched, and the helicopter wreckage and the bodies of our fallen personnel have been recovered.
Four Qatari Armed Forces personnel, one member of the Turkish Armed Forces, and two ASELSAN technicians were killed in the crash.
The exact cause of the crash will be determined following an investigation by Qatari authorities."
