  • Entity banner photos use portrait (3:4), square (1:1), or landscape (4:3) slots instead of a one-size square crop.
  • Photo slot is chosen from the image aspect ratio on load, with sensible defaults per entity type (e.g. 4:3 for assets).
  • Square slot uses contain fit so logos and document scans are not clipped.

  • Logged-in admins see an Admin dropdown on entity, article, and post pages with quick links to the admin panel and page-specific edit screens.

  • Admins can pin a published article to the top of the homepage feed for 4, 12, or 24 hours when publishing; only one article is pinned at a time, with a warning if you would replace an existing pin.

  • Entity pages load faster: eligible profiles are cached for five minutes so repeat visits and crawlers skip the full database round-trip.
  • Entity page database work reduced — related people, organizations, and locations are resolved in one batch instead of three separate query passes; post activity stats (last 7 days and monthly sparkline) are merged into fewer queries.
  • Site-wide nav megamenu (People, Organizations) uses a one-hour file cache so the heaviest sidebar query no longer runs on every page load.
  • Entity activity sparkline shortened from 24 months to 12 for a tighter chart and a lighter monthly aggregation query.
  • 404 and sub-threshold entity redirects are never publicly cached, so bad links and eligibility redirects stay correct.

  • Added ads.txt at osint613.com/ads.txt to declare authorized digital ad sellers.
  • Search moved from the category nav to the logo row — a compact "Search anything" box on desktop (icon-only on mobile) opens the same site-wide search modal; `/` shortcut unchanged.
